International Bridging Program is established by International Office with a purpose for assisting and facilitating students, lecturers, and other people in Mulawarman University or from other parties and institution to study abroad. Program provides courses such as IELTS/TOEFL preparation class, LoA mentoring, study abroad preparation, a technique of international publications, and research seminars.

Mulawarman University is intitiating and establishing international communities especially among international universities, whether Mulawarman University as a leader or a member to create an international standard academic environment, to initiate research groups among international research institutions and parties as well as to establish joint publication with partners from abroad.

International Office and Excellent Program of Mulawarman University is conducting incidentally programs, such as international training courses for teachers (by request), general lectures, scholarship seminars, scholarship consultation, study abroad consultation, publication consultation and international program consultation. International Office and Excellent Program of Mulawarman University is conducting TPA (Tes Potensi Akadamik), TOEFL, and IELTS Test on regular and requested schedule.

Buddy Program is a student organization established by International Office and Excellent Program of Mulawarman University comprising selected, talented and active students of Mulawarman University and appointed annually. Buddy Program provides foreign guest buddy and assistances, conducts and organizes international events conducted by units/institutions in Mulawarman University, and initiate internationally creative student programs.
